Update: Tanaka exits Friday’s game with hamstring stiffness

8:59pm ET: Tanaka left the game with stiffness in both hamstrings, the Yankees announced. Okie dokie. He’s going to be evaluated tomorrow. Here’s the play:

8:45pm ET: Well this isn’t good. Masahiro Tanaka exited tonight’s game against the Mets with an apparent injury. He tagged up and scored on a sacrifice fly in the sixth inning, and replays showed him stumbling about halfway down the line. Did he feel a twinge? Did he stumble and hurt his ankle? Who knows. I suppose the good news is Tanaka was able to stay upright and score on the play.
