Fresh off winning their ninth game in a row on Saturday against the Minnesota Twins, the New York Yankees will have to wait until next week to keep their streak alive and try to take it to ten contests in a row.
The Yankees’ official site reported that with Hurricane Henri bearing down on the New York area, Sunday’s game against the Twins at Yankee Stadium, the series finale, has been postponed due to the forecast of severe inclement weather.
The game will be played on Monday, Sept. 13, at 2:05 p.m. ET at Yankee Stadium, per the team’s official site.
