The Yankees bring one of the biggest names in the world of baseball to the majors and officially sign Hideki Matsui.
As a member of the Yomiuri Giants, Matsui was one of the best players in NPB, winning three Japan Series titles, three Central League MVPs, and making nine All-Star teams.
