Here is something that will make baseball purists puke.
When the Yankees visit Dodger Stadium for three games in August they won’t be wearing their road gray uniforms. Instead, for Players Weekend the Yankees will tuck themselves into a black uniform Aug. 23-25.
While the Yankees will wear their iconic pinstripes for the two games in London this weekend against the Red Sox, the home team got to pick between white and black uniforms and the Dodgers opted for white.
The Players Weekend is a joint venture between MLB and the Players Association in its third year.
