The Yankees’ projected 2025 lineup is an interesting blend of youth and experience

Are curious to see what the New York Yankees’ lineup could look like in 2025? We all are. The Bombers may have spent years without winning the World Series, but the organization has several impact prospects and young players that invite the fan base to dream.

The folks at Baseball America (link to Talkin’ Yankees tweet here), specialized in prospects coverage, made an interesting exercise: trying to project the Yankees’ 2025 lineup and rotation. They are not all prospects: the site assumes that some of today’s stars will stay via contract extensions.

Without further ado, here is the Yankees’ projected 2025 lineup and rotation, by Baseball America:

C – Austin Wells

1B – DJ LeMahieu

2B – Gleyber Torres

3B – Anthony Volpe

SS – Oswald Peraza

LF – Joey Gallo

CF – Jasson Dominguez

RF – Aaron Judge

DH Giancarlo Stanton

The first things we observe is that, in this particular exercise, the Yankees extended Torres, Gallo, and Judge.
