The Broncos are Super Bowl champions, and the Panthers will have to wait another year to try for the Lombardi Trophy, a trophy which, in the grand scheme of things, looks way lamer than the Stanley Cup. Trophy lameness aside, that’s the only real story.
Okay yes, Peyton Manning potentially retiring with his second Super Bowl ring is a story as well. That’s mere speculation and guessing at this point. The meat of that story won’t be cooked to a perfect medium rare until Peyton actually announces his retirement.
