The Dodgers and their fans own New York for a night

NEW YORK -- The cadence sounded dead on, but it emanated from the wrong side of the stadium and in the wrong half of the first inning. The act of the famed Bleacher Creatures was co-opped.

The roll call from right field that salutes each of the seven position players, excluding the battery, in the top half of the first was stolen by a large group of fans, wearing Dodger blue and sitting near the left-field foul pole on Monday night.

They chanted each and every Dodger defender's name in the bottom of the first, while later they would repeatedly unfurl a big "LA" blue flag that stretched across their large section of fans.
