Before the Yankees lost their lead and got booed Friday night, a group of protesters drew the ire of Yankee Stadium.

In the bottom of the third inning, some fans unfurled a sign over the second deck in right field that read, “Declare Climate Emergency.” It was met with a smattering of boos as play went on.

Fans in the seats below the sign tried pulling it down, to no avail, before the sign was eventually rolled up, to the delight of the crowd.
