Staten Island Yankees Recap: Baby Bombers Drop 5th Straight Game In Extra Innings

Yesterday, the Staten Island Yankees (19-18) played the second game of their three game series against the Batavia Muckdogs (Miami Marlins) at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark in St. George. The Baby Bombers had a 2-1 lead going into the eighth inning, but the Muckdogs tied it on an error by second baseman Thairo Estrada and they would go on to win 3-2 in ten innings. With the loss, Staten Island has lost five straight games and seven of their last eight.

Batavia got on the board in the first against the Yankees’ starter, right-handed pitcher Kolton Mahoney.
