Starlin credits Didi for easing his transition

NEW YORK -- Through the first two games of the 2016 season, Didi Gregorius and Starlin Castro have been more than just a double-play tandem. In fact, they haven't been that at all.

Two-thirds of the way through the team's Opening Series, the Yankees' new middle-infield combination hadn't teamed up to turn two. However, batting from the No. 8 and No. 9 holes in the lineup, Castro and Gregorius have found a way to make their presence known.

The second baseman and shortstop combined to go 9-for-16 with two runs scored, eight RBIs and just one strikeout over the opening two games.
