BALTIMORE — There are two ways to view Sonny Gray’s solid outing Friday night. One, it was against the feeble swinging Orioles who couldn’t hit water if they fell out of a boat in the Inner Harbor. Two, it was six innings of one-run hurling.
Of course, the Yankees will choose the latter, because the struggling right-hander pitched them to a 4-1 victory that was witnessed by a Camden Yards crowd of 26,500.
