The Yankees and J.A. Happ have agreed to a contract, reports Ken Rosenthal. It’s believed to be a three-year deal. No word on the money yet but my guess is it is in the $15M per year neighborhood. We’ll see.

Update: Rosenthal walked his report back. Now he’s saying the two sides are close to a deal but it has not yet been agreed to. This morning we heard the Phillies were “bringing it” in their pursuit of Happ.
