Right under Yankees' noses, Wilkes-Barre native Ray Black becoming real-life Sidd Finch

Remember Sidd Finch, the fictional Mets pitching prospect whose fastball was clocked at 168 mph?

This unbelievable story was written as fact George Plimpton in the April 1, 1985 issue of Sports Illustrated ... and what a great April Fool's Day hoax it turned out to be.

Thirty years later, there's a real-life Sidd Finch-like San Francisco Giants pitching prospect who recently threw a record-tying, 104-mph fastball in an Arizona Fall League Game.

The only other player recently clocked as high as 104 mph?

Cincinnati Reds closer Aroldis Chapman.

Ray Black probably should be Yankees property because he's a native of Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
