CLEVELAND — CC Sabathia, who was celebrated in his retirement season in the city where his career began Tuesday night, said he has confidence in the Yankees front office addressing areas of need and that it would be great to add a starter.
But he also said he remains confident Luis Severino and Dellin Betances, who both have yet to play this year, will be part of the staff down the stretch.
“Just being around them and seeing how much they work and how much they want to be back, that makes me feel they will be back,” Sabathia said.
