Brendan Kuty of NJ.com has reported that according to sources, the Yankees are among teams that have reached out to reliever Carlos Torres. The right-handed pitcher left the New York Mets for free agency Monday.

According to those same sources, Torres has fielded plenty of offers, including from teams in Asia. Torres, who turned 33 in October, pitched to a 4.68 ERA in 57.1 innings for the Yankees cross-town rival in 2015.
