29-year-old first baseman Ike Davis has agreed to a major league contract with the Yankees, and is expected to join the team soon, according to MLB Network insider Jon Heyman. The terms of the deal have not yet been released.

Davis’ last appearance in the majors was with the Oakland Athletics in 2015, where he hit .229 with three home runs and 20 RBI in 74 games.
