Plus three other Statcast feats from Saturday's action

Mike Trout refused to let the Angels go down quietly Saturday when he stepped in against Rays fireballer Ryne Stanek with his team down, 5-1, in the ninth.

On an 0-1 count, Trout turned on a 98.5 mph fastball from Stanek and deposited it a projected 430 feet into the left-field stands for his 14th home run of the season. It's the fastest pitch Trout has taken deep in his Major League career, surpassing a 98.2 mph heater thrown by Royals reliever Kelvin Herrera on May 15, 2013. Despite Trout's heroics, the Angels eventually fell to the Rays, 5-3.
