Two Yankees have tested positive for coronavirus before coming to New York, manager Aaron Boone told reporters on Saturday.
DJ LeMahieu, one of the Yankees’ top hitters, and spot starter and reliever Luis Cessa have tested positive for COVID-19. They both are isolating at home.
Boone said LeMahieu is asymptomatic while Cessa has shown mild symptoms.
