NEW YORK — The Yankees’ crazy-long injured list might be growing.
Eleven players already are shelved, and No. 12 could be catcher Gary Sanchez, who has been bothered this week with tightness in his lower legs.
Sanchez’s injury definitely still is in issue because the Yankees called up catcher Kyle Higashioka from Triple-A on Thursday night, Scranton/Wilkes-Barre manager Jay Bell announced after his club won its home opener over the Buffalo Bisons 9-8 in 10 innings in Moosic, Pa.
Eh, what’s another injury or two at this point…
