The New York Yankees are on a west coast trip. This means that as a New Yorker, the games aren’t ending until the middle of the night.
As such, I’ve decided that the only way to accurately write the postgame reports is to write them as if I’m Matt Damon in The Martian.
West coast trip log, day one:
The journey back home has only just begun, but I feel as though we’ve been here for seven years. The Yankees dropped a rather uneventful game to the Athletics by a score of 6-2.
