For the first time in about a week and a half, yesterday was an unequivocally good day for the Yankees. They rallied from an early deficit and their offense scored more than four runs in a game for the first time since April 11th. A 7-11 record is still crappy, but it’s sure better than 6-12, that’s for damn sure.
The next step is to actually build off those good vibes and to see if the bats can manage to continue clicking. They’ll get their shot against Cleveland lefty Logan Allen, who has minimal experience when compared to the rest of the vaunted Cleveland staff.
