The New York Yankees and the Tampa Bay Rays opened up a three-game series Monday night down in Florida. The Yanks are miles ahead of the Rays in the AL East standings, however, the Rays seemed to have taken the competition off the field and onto the grounds of social media during Monday nights contest.
The Tampa Bay Rays social media team trolled Yankee Fans all over Tropicana Field Monday night, taking pictures of fans wearing Yankee jerseys with the players last name on the back.
Everyone who is a Yankee fan, or a baseball fan in general, knows that the Yankees are old school and don’t put the players’ last names on any of their game jerseys.
