New York Yankees sign 1B Logan Morrison to a minor league deal (Report)

The New York Yankees have signed free-agent first baseman Logan Morrison to a minor league deal, according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan.

First baseman Logan Morrison and the New York Yankees are in agreement on a minor league deal, sources tell ESPN. He's got an opt-out date of July 1 and will make $1 million if he's added to the major league roster.

If Morrison is not on the Yankees roster come July 1, he has an opt-out clause in the deal where he can become a free agent again.
