New York Yankees Recap: The Yankees shame the Red Sox allowing only one run on the night (video)

Last night at Yankee Stadium, the New York Yankees continued their winning ways by beating the Boston Red Sox 5-1. The Red Sox could do nothing off the Yankees pitching. In the game, the Yankees continued the long ball with a mix of small ball as well.

Jordan Montgomery pitched five and two-thirds innings of one-run ball. He allowed a home run in the second to Michael Chavis, and that was the only run the Boston Red Sox would score as Jordan Montgomery settled down and pitched another three scoreless innings. At 81 pitches manager, Aaron Boone took Monty out and replaced him with Chad Green, who pitched two scoreless innings.
