On Wednesday at George Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman made it clear that he’s comfortable with what he currently has (as it relates to the starting rotation), via Brendan Kuty of NJ.com
“What I’ve got is what I’ve got,” Cashman said in the clubhouse.
On Tuesday, a Mark Feinsand report surfaced suggesting New York had previously discussed the possibility of bringing on left-handed free agent Gio Gonzalez.
The momentum only grew once Luis Severino hit the shelf earlier that very same day.
