New York Yankees: Luis Severino Expected to Make Rehab Start Soon

New York Yankees’ ace Luis Severino has been sidelined all season due to a lat injury he suffered during spring training. Severino’s throwing program has been successful and he’s making giant steps to lead him back on a major league mound.

Severino threw a 35 pitch simulated game on Tuesday and then he’s expected to make a rehab start this upcoming Sunday. The Yankees intend to work Severino up to around 60 pitches so they can either utilize him either as a relief pitcher or starter. Below you can watch Sevy throw, video credit to his wife.
