Aaron Boone told Mike Francesa on WFAN that Jordan Montgomery has a flexor strain that will sideline him for 6-8 weeks. This is tough news for a New York Yankees starting rotation that already has concerns regarding depth.

It is likely that Domingo German will start on Sunday in place of Montgomery, but it is unclear how Brian Cashman will go about replacing Montgomery in the rotation for the couple months that the lefty will be out.
