The New York Yankees just finished up a series win against the Boston Red Sox, catapulting them even further into the top spot in the AL East.
To add to the fun, the Yankees knocked the Red Sox out of playoff contention, the first time in five years. However, the Yankees will need all of their weapons to feature during the postseason if they wish to make a deep run. They started the week with some good news and some bad.
Let’s start with the bad news:
Career average player Mike Tauchman strained his left calf several days ago, and the injury was concerning at the time.
