In the first game of the doubleheader, the New York Yankees dominated offensively. They really looked like they got back into the swing of things after getting shutout in the first game of the series. In that game, they looked dead and couldn’t put together enough hits to put up a run. It looked like they took a step back offensively. However, today was a lot different.
They ended up losing the second game of the doubleheader 5-3 but didn’t go down without a fight. In fact, they had more hits than the Rays. Now, a big chunk of those hits came in the last inning, but they kept creeping back into the game.
