Didi Gregorius served as a catalyst for the 2017 World Baseball Classic for the Netherlands team. However, that journey has ended for the New York Yankees stud shortstop.
Gregorius flew back to Tampa this morning to receive more tests on a right shoulder injury, according to a report by Yankees beat writer Bryan Hoch on Twitter.
Didi Gregorius has a right shoulder injury and is flying back to Tampa. He had a preliminary MRI yesterday, more tests tomorrow.
