Losing streak? For the New York Yankees? We’ve yet to see this type of play from the Yankees but here they are, in the midst of their longest skid this young season.
While the negatives of this putrid losing streak certainly outweigh the positives, there are still plenty of reasons not to panic over this skid. These are some of the main reasons.
1. Aroldis Chapman’s Return
While the loss of Chapman didn’t seem like a huge deal when the Yanks were scoring runs at will, during this stretch Chapman would have easily gotten the job done in several one-run situations.
