A third of the way through the New York Yankee 2021 season, there have been some notable changes this season. Pitchers are pitching better, and hitters are hitting less, sparking debates of what should be done about it. This season the New York Yankees have had the most significant revamping of their pitching rotation for the first time since 2009. Through the years, the Yankees have had some of the best pitchers in the game. Today we look at one of those, Ron Guidry.
Ron Guidry, the early years
The New York Yankees’ Ron Guidry was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, on August 28, 1950; Ronald Ames Guidry spent his entire fourteen-year pitching career with the New York Yankees.
