Might a Yankees-Nationals trade be imminent?
According to Barry Svrluga of the Washington Post, the Yankees have been scouting the Nationals' Triple-A affiliate in Syracuse and plan to head to Nationals Park this week to continue their effort.
The Nationals have been one of the primary teams connected to the Yankees as New York decides whether to become trade deadline buyers or sellers.
Relievers Andrew Miller and Aroldis Chapman could be Washington's main targets. The team has been eyeing relief help as it entered Sunday six games ahead of the Mets for first place in the National League East.
