When he was a Yankee: Curtis Granderson arrived in a splashy three-team trade after the 2009 season. In return for Granderson, the Yankees sent reliever Phil Coke and outfielder Austin Jackson to Detroit and the Diamondbacks got pitcher Ian Kennedy. The Diamondbacks also got pitcher Edwin Jackson. Detroit also received pitchers Max Scherzer and Daniel Schlereth. Gradnerson was a two-time All-Star with the Yankees, clubbing 115 home runs over four seasons before leaving for the Mets.
