After taking right-handed pitcher James Kaprielian from UCLA with the 16th overall pick in the 2015 MLB Draft, the Yankees have made their second pick already and it's not even the second round yet. After losing David Robertson in free agency, New York was awarded a supplemental draft pick as compensation, which they have now used to take shortstop Kyle Holder out of the University of San Diego with the 30th overall pick.
