Thus far, the New York Yankees have selected right-hander Drew Finley, out of Rancho Bernardo High School, and center fielder Jeff Hendrix, out of Oregon State University. With their fifth-round selection, and 153rd overall, the Yankees have selected relief pitcher Chance Adams out of Dallas Baptist University.
Adams is the Yankees’ sixth selection in the 2015 MLB draft. Adding onto the pitching depth, the Yankees added an additional pitcher to their selections, but this time intending as purely a relief pitcher.
The Yankees are getting a hard throwing right-hander in Adams.
