The drums to open the "Mike's On" jingle hit at 3:02 p.m. Eastern on Tuesday, signaling Francesa's official return to WFAN after a whirlwind week of controversy and headlines following his decision to come back to the FAN's afternoon drive slot after a short four-month "retirement."
Francesa's monologue to open the show was one of the more anticipated New York sports events in some time. It's now complete ... but he didn't have much to say about how he got back to the power chair, to the surprise of many.
