While some folks out in Queens have a little bit of free time on their hands, the New York Yankees have been a little busy. The Yankees just finished vanquishing their arch-rival, the Boston Red Sox, and have now turned their attention to the ALDS matchup against the Toronto Blue Jays. Meanwhile, their New York City neighbors, the Mets, are busy planning golf outings and exotic getaways.

Those vacations are much-needed, as they desperately need some time away their clear their heads after what went down in 2025.

Big expectations in Flushing gave way to big disappointments, as the Mets collapsed, falling from first place in the NL East on August 2 to 13 games behind the Philadelphia Phillies and out of the playoff picture by September 28.
