While the hot stove continues to remain, well, less than hot, the interest in Japanese superstar Shohei Ohtani continues to increase as teams give him their best pitches.
Ohtani's lead agent, Los Angeles-based agent Nez Balelo of CAA, has asked teams to fill out much-publicized questionnaire and the Mets have filled it out, according to SNY's Andy Martino.
Teams were asked to submit answers in both English and Japanese, detailing their things like their player development philosophies, spring training and minor league facilities, resources to help him assimilate into the city and community and, of course, how he would be used as a pitcher, hitter and outfielder.
