An injured Mark Teixeira had to sit and watch a Yankees team he thought had World Series potential flame out with a one-game postseason. But he said Wednesday his fractured shin is 100 percent and he will be ready for next season.
“I feel great. No problems at all,’’ said Teixeira, who missed the final six weeks of the season. “No. I’m working out full-speed. I don’t start running until January, anyway, but we don’t expect that’s going to be an issue at all.’’
Teixeira was at Bloomberg’s Celebrity Charity Day in midtown, his Harlem RBI charity one of 18 organizations from New York, London, Hong Kong and Sao Paulo that will receive proceeds.
