The injury news continues to pile up as the Yankees will place right-handed pitcher Luis Severino on the 15-day disabled list with a right tricep strain.
The 22-year-old left Friday nights contest after 2 2/3s innings pitched, and immediately left the clubhouse to receive an MRI on his right arm.
Luis Severino diagnosed with a mild right triceps strain. Will not pick up a baseball for 5-7 days, and will be placed on 15-day DL.
The injury comes on the heals of an 0-6 start this season from the young fireball pitcher.
