The 51-year-old actor is slated to participate in pitcher CC Sabathia‘s celebrity softball game at Yankee Stadium later this month, Sabathia’s wife, Amber, confirmed Thursday to Page Six.
“We’re really excited about it,” Amber said of Foxx. “He’s a comedian, he’s a musician, he plays multiple instruments and he also loves to play softball, so he was really excited about it.”
Foxx joins an already stacked lineup, which includes Fat Joe, Michael Strahan, Tiki Barber, Dascha Polanco and current New York Giants tight end Evan Engram and wide receiver Golden Tate.
