Indians 5, Yankees 2: Green melts down in first half finale

A suboptimal finish to the first half. The Yankees let a winnable game slip away Sunday afternoon — that happened far too often on this road trip — to finish this four-game series with a split. Normally I’d be okay with splitting four games with the Indians in Cleveland. This was frustrating though. The final score was 5-2 and the Yankees go into the All-Star break at 62-33 with a +131 run differential.

Strong Tanaka
An excellent outing for Masahiro Tanaka. Too bad the #obligatoryhomer happened to be a game-tying two-run shot by Edwin Encarnacion.
