How Yankees left intriguing prospects exposed, protected under-the-radar arm

The Yankees made a somewhat surprising move Tuesday night, shielding an under-the-radar reliever while leaving several talented youngsters dangling for other teams to pick.

They stashed right-handed reliever Joe Harvey on their 40-man roster, protecting him from the Rule 5 Draft.
