BOSTON -- Reliever Dellin Betances and catcher Gary Sanchez were together Saturday afternoon in the back seat of a car riding from the Yankees' downtown Boston hotel to Fenway Park.
This was another opportunity for Betances to remind Sanchez how Game 2 of the ALDS on Saturday night was another chance to start turning the page on a 2018 season that has been one nightmare after another with beyond imagination offensive struggles, a second consecutive year of many scrutinized defensive mistakes plus two disabled list stints totaling eight weeks due to a right groin strain that was very slow healing.
