Minnesota’s Metro Transit, which serves the St. Paul and Minneapolis region, made a bet with the MTA over which team would win the series — and the Twinkies bombed, losing the five-game series in three after surrendering a 5-1 victory to the Yankees Monday night.

“It’s with heavy hearts that we concede our Minnesota Twins #ALDS loss to the New York Yankees,” the Twin Cities’ Metro Transit posted on its Facebook page.
