How Jorge Posada lit fires to reach Yankees immortality

On Jorge Posada Day at the Stadium — with the catcher having his No. 20 retired and plaque enshrined in Monument Park — he threw out the ceremonial first pitch, airmailing a soft lob that got to the backstop. Posada’s son, Jorge Jr. — who was behind the plate where his father had squatted for so many innings — barked at him for making such a weak throw.

Of course he did. How could any son of Posada’s not?
