How Aaron Judge, Yankees are doing in American League All-Star voting

BALTIMORE -- Baseball fans across the globe are loving Yankees rookie phenom Aaron Judge.

The first balloting update for the 2017 All-Star Game was announced on Wednesday and Judge has more votes than anyone except for Los Angeles Angels superstar center fielder Mike Trout.

Based on the early voting, it appears Judge already is in great shape to be a starting outfielder for the American League at Marlins Park in Miami on July 11.

Trout led outfielders with 776,937 votes. Judge, who leads the majors with 17 homers, was a fairly close second with 730,438 votes.
