Everyone’s getting tossed or beaned in wild Yankees game

The Yankees were losers of six of nine games entering Saturday’s game in St. Petersburg, Fla., and Joe Girardi’s anger boiled over.

The Yankees manager got tossed in the fifth inning against the Rays for arguing balls and strikes, shortly after pitching Larry Rothschild was ejected for the same. Girardi pulled his best Billy Martin act, bending over and throwing dusting dirt onto home plate.

The drama was only just beginning. In the sixth inning, Rays pitcher Matt Andriese hit Aaron Judge in the left ribcage, getting himself tossed.
