The breakout star of the Yankees’ season seized the spotlight again in Game 1 of the ALDS, as LeMahieu delivered his first career postseason home run, and then sealed the 10-4 win over the Twins with a three-run double in the seventh inning.
LeMahieu, who went 3-for-20 with no RBIs while appearing in five playoff games with the Rockies the past two years, went 3-for-5 Friday night. He continued his storybook first season in pinstripes, in which he finished second in the American League with a .
